BRIGHTENING SUMMER SERUM!



Nature has some pretty amazing ingredients that can in fact do wonders for our skin, so I try to take benefit from them as much as I can and they work like magic! I've used cucumber water on my face a lot of times and it's always been so refreshing not like any other. Summers almost here and you know how skin becomes dull, tanned and rough? with this homemade toner you can beat all that,who doesn’t want a glowing skin right? This toner will make your skin smooth and bright, and the best thing about it, it’s 100% natural and very effective!

Rose water is added in this serum and rose water itself is a toner so it's pretty good for pores, sun can enlarge your pores if you don't put on sunscreen but rosewater in this serum will help you close them!
You can also just buy a rosewater spray, refrigerate it and spray it on your face 2-3 times daily for a more refreshing skin and close pores.

Cucumber has many benefits for our skin

  1.  The cucumber is rich in water that helps hydrate and revitalize your skin.
  2.  Protects against the sun and removes sun tan
  3. Soothes the skin and heals scars
  4. Helps to treat uneven skin tone

Ingredients you’ll need:

  • Cucumber juice, two spoons
  • Rosewater, one spoon
  • Aloe Vera gel, one spoon
  • Olive oil, half spoon

How to:

In a bowl add cucumber juice, rose water, aloe vera gel and then olive oil , give it a good shake.
(you can use coconut oil or almond oil too)

That’s it! All done! Your summer serum is ready to use!

You can store it in the refrigerator for 2 weeks.
You can apply the serum not only to the face, but also to your other body parts to get rid of skin darkening.
You can also use this skin brightening serum as an overnight treatment. Apply it to the face at night and leave it on overnight, then wash it off with cold water next morning.

If you're getting aloe vera from aloe vera leaves avoid the aloe latex.

It can be found as a yellowish liquid within the inner layers of aloe vera leaves. You want to make sure that you never ingest this kind of aloe vera, because it has been reported to possess laxative effects and may cause more serious digestive health complications to occur.
