TOP 10 WAYS TO MINIMIZE PORES!

Wondering how to minimize pores? Well if you search on the internet you’ll find many different ways but not all of them work, I’ve got here the top 10 tips and remedies that actually work.

Pores are small openings that cover all of the skin in your body. Enlarged pores are my worst fear and I know a lot of people have the same fear. But there are many ways you can stop this from happening.

Many factors can lead to enlarge pores, some out of our control including genetics and aging and some we can control like blackheads, sun damage and oily skin.

Sun damage can actually thicken your skin, which leads to bigger pores, HOW? Oily and unclean skin can cause oils to settle around the pores, making them appear larger as the skin around them thickens.

When skin produces too much oil it mixes with the dead skin and clog pores. Blackheads, acne infection resulting from clogged pores with sebum can also lead to larger pores.

People with oily skin produce a lot of sebum so they have more chances of getting them. Pores clog not only with sebum but also with dirt, so you need to do a full on facial cleansing at least once a week to keep your pores clean.

Here are the top 10 ways to minimize pores

1-Cleanse at least twice a day

cleansing with a good face wash or you can get a daily scrub face wash which will not harm your skin even if you scrub daily with it but if you have a sensitive skin try to avoid it.. If you choose to cleanse only once a day it should be the night time, that time you can remove all the dirt and makeup all together and have a good sleep.

2-Scrub weekly

Add a scrub to your weekly routine, scrubbing can help unclog pores which can lead to large pores, so this is a must!

3-Treat with vitamin C

Vitamin C is very beneficial for you skin and it can help minimize your pores

4-Using a Clay mask

Clay mask will help remove the oil from your pores making them less visible. If you have oily skin clay mask is very good for you. Check out my blog about what type of mask you should be using according to your skin for more help!

5-Plain yogurt mask

Natural yogurt contains probiotics and lactic bacteria, which help keep the bad bacteria that causes acne in check, therefore reducing the appearance of pore size

Stir the yogurt well and then apply a thin layer on your face.
Leave on for a maximum of 10 minutes.
Rinse off with cool water.
Repeat this once or twice a week.

6-Baking soda exfoliation

Baking soda can exfoliate your skin very well removing all of the dirt and oil from your pores, I’ve talked about baking soda exfoliation in my how to remove blackheads from your nose post.

7-Egg white mask

By now I think everyone know that egg white mask tightens your skin and removes oil from your skin.

To make the mask you need:
Egg white 1
Lemon juice 1

Whisk them together and rise after 25 minutes. You can use this few times in a week

8-Cucumber mask

cucumber is a natural astringent and shrinks open pores. It also refreshes the skin and gives it a new glow.
Extract the juice of one fresh cucumber (you can first grate it and squeeze out the juice or use a juicer).
Apply the juice on your skin with a cotton ball.
Let it work for 15 to 20 minutes and then wash it off with cold water.

9-Use a sunscreen

don’t forget to use a sunscreen before going out!

10-The most important tip

Stop crying about them. No one sees your pores they way you see them in the mirror, the main step when dealing with your pores is mental: Loosen up!
