HOW TO START A SKINCARE ROUTINE

Well if you ask someone about skincare you’ll get a lot of answers and always get confused, there’s just too many things to look at, right? if you’re just a beginner who just got serious about their skin you need to know somethings before you start making one. Questions like, does skincare routine means I need a lot of products? Does it mean sheet mask every day? Do I need a night mask? Well don’t worry! It’s not that serious, trust me.

The truth is, of course that all matters each skin-care routine is necessarily as unique and individual as the person following it. There are two key goals when it comes to skincare: to clean and to protect. Nowadays you’ll see a lot of Insta videos or YouTube tutorial about skincare routine and you’ll see everyone doing it differently, well it’s because different people have different problems with their skin and maybe their skin care routine won’t be as much effective to you as it is to them, so you need to find out what you need in order to make a skin care routine. Here I’m gonna tell you the basic skin care steps everyone should follow and I’m gonna link somethings to my other posts so you can find out the right products for the needs of your skin type. Deciding what products you need in order to perform these steps is more nuanced than the actual steps themselves, as you want products that complement your skin type.

Step 1- Cleansing

A gentle cleanser is what you need no matter how healthy you think your skin is, you need a soft cleanser to clean your face everyday. Taking off your makeup using a makeup remover and then using a gentle cleanser is the right way to do it.

You’ll find a lot of exfoliating cleanser and they say its good for daily application but if you have a sensitive skin avoid it.

Facial cleansers come in several formulations, including cream, gel, and foaming cleanser—typically creams are for dry skin and foaming for oily.

Step 2- Serum

Reach for a serum to treat any skin-care concerns you may have.

Step 3- Moisturizing

A moisturizer according to your skin is a must if you want to make a skin care routine. Different skin type will need different type and quantity of moisturizer.

Step 4(for Morning)- Sunscreen

When the sun's out, you need an SPF-containing product. Sunscreen moisturizes the skin and protects from harmful rays. Sun rays can enlarge your pores or give you an ugly tan, so don’t forget your sunscreen whenever you go out!

Step 4(for Night)- Care for your eyes

Many people want to remove their dark circles and try a lot of stuff for it, but not everything works, the best time to care for your eyes is the nighttime. Apply your eye care serum or cream before you go to bed and it'll be very effective. You can also try almond oil, the easiest effective way is to sleep with almond oil on your eyes, just massage a little with it before you go to bed and let it stay overnight and wash in the morning!

This is what you need to do daily, it’s that simple! You don’t need to add more things to it, adding more stuff can damage you skin instead of helping it. Well, this is not enough for the week, you need to do a deep pore cleansing every week so that your skin stays clean and less acne appearance.

Pores are small openings that cover all of the skin in your body. Enlarged pores are my worst fear and I know a lot of people have the same fear. But there are many ways you can stop this from happening. Many factors can lead to enlarge pores, some out of our control including genetics and aging and some we can control like blackheads, sun damage and oily skin. Sun damage can actually thicken your skin, which leads to bigger pores, HOW?
